- 1958 or 1959 Morris Minor 1000 Convertible Project
The car is completely apart. All the metal work has been done, but no bodywork or mechanical restoration. Metal work done includes battery box, sills, floors, and front spring hangers. New frame rails. Panels are all rust free and relatively straight. All mechanical parts are believed to be there, except possibly the transmission. The intention was to install a 1275cc engine and rib case transmission in place of the 948 and smooth case. There is a 1098cc engine available separately. All work performed by Peter Brauen of BMC Restorations. The car is located north of the Coast in Hancock County.
This car is perfect for someone who wants to transform a saloon into a convertible or who has a MG Midget with a good drive train to be used as a donor for this convertible. The owner is asking $3500 but will consider offers. Interesting (British) trades considered.
Call or email Mike Hemsley for more information and to be connected with the owner. I have no financial interest in the car, so any discussion about price should be with the owner. 07/28/13

- 1970 MG ARKLEY
We believe it is the only one in Mississippi. The car, mechanically, is a stock 1970 MG Midget 1098cc. The Arkley fiberglass kit body was designed and sold in England by a Morgan dealer and has strong Morgan lines. The car was restored mechanically and cosmetically here in Jackson over a 3-year period from 1999-2001. A real "Head Turner" and at only $7,000.00 or best offer.....a steal. Plus the parts are cheap and MOSS carries all of them. Located in Jackson MS area. Phone Number: (601) 421-1999. 08/01/13
