1973 MGB -Chrome Bumper Beauty
Complete cosmetic restoration several years ago (no mechanical was needed). All original, except for fuel pump (electric) and ignition (electronic) - to ensure performance and reduce maintenance (original parts go with the car), never wrecked or abused. Dealer installed air-conditioning is pretty rare as is the fact all the early pollution control equipment is in tact. It is an exceptional driver with new master cylinder and front-end rebuild. Contact Mel Buckley 601-506-9796. |

1960 & 67
Morris Minor 1000 2 DR Saloons
Both cars got
wet in Katrina (4’ of water) and are in Bay St.
Louis, MS. I am working in VA until the end of
April and have not had time to work on the
cars. The ’60 was a project car, and is apart
but complete. The ’67 was a nice,
original car with disk brakes and minimal rust;
the floorboard of the ’67 has suffered. Both
cars are restorable. I think the body on the
’60 is actually the more solid. There are bins
of extra parts – many carbs, badges, manifolds,
etc. Prices are $500 for the ’60, $1200 for the
’67, and $300 for the parts. $1500 if you take
it all. Will consider using the cars and parts
as partial payment for a running Minor or other
interesting small, older car. Photos
available. 703-318-8085 or mhemsley4@comcast.net. |

damage. Still has the original paint
(apple green). Needs a new headliner, of
course. 601-948-1547, rwking10@aol.com or lspencerlawyer@aol.com

1974 TR6
& 1975 MGB
I have two cars that I would like to
sell: 1. Triumph TR6, 1974, overhauled,
looks good (not a "20-footer"), runs
like a top, good tires. Needs one rear
spring-- I have it, but have not put it
on. I am not aware of any other
problems. Will sell for $11K. 2. MGB,
1975, white, looks good, runs like a
top, too. I do not know of anything it
needs at the moment. $7,000.00. I will
be glad to show either or both at any
time. Daniel Gilchrist IV, Carthage,

1974 MGB
Red with tan interior, paint job is
great. The car came from the factory
with rubber bumpers and dual carbs -
HIF4s. Car has tube shock conversion
front and rear. LE aluminum wheels with
good tires - few miles. Newish
convertible top. Brake and clutch master
cylinders are new, both systems bled
with Castrol brake fluid. Alternator
rebuilt. The care needs very little -
carpet kit, rear cockpit surround. This
is one of the better Bs that I've seen
in a while. $6,000. Jim Trunzler at 601
331-1071 or trunzlerj@bellsouth.net.
