Archestratus Café and
Grill in Clinton, Mississippi, again
hosted the yearly kickoff for the
EMC and what a send off into the new
year. Nineteen members made the
gathering this year which was a
great turnout. The group got a lot
of business covered including the
naming of a couple of new officers
which was top of the list as we move
into 2007. We
also re-assigned responsibilities of
the secretary/treasurer position.
Two new members from 2006 joined
this year’s party - Royce Boyer (‘68
Sunbeam Tiger) and Walter Mashburn
(‘60 Triumph TR3A). Also joining us
was our first new member of 2007
Doug McAdams. Doug is from the
Kosciusko area and joins the EMC
with a couple of MGB’s. Several
additions were made to the calendar
of local and far away interest. If
you need additional information,

Mail your $25.00 check for 2007 dues
to Barbara Cashman, 237 McAuley,
Vicksburg MS 39183. We ended 2006
with 64 members. We’d like to keep
our group growing in 2007. Please
get your payment in as early as
possible. Again in 2007 the British
Marque is included along with all
the fun and frolic that you’d hope
to have in your LBC.
During November - December 2006
we added the following members by
mail-in: Bob Hirko from Brandon
joined as did Ronnie and Diane
Coleman of Batesville. Ronnie and
Diane are owners of a 1951 MGTD. I’m
checking on Bob’s ride. Welcome into
the EMC folks, we look forward to
seeing you at upcoming EMC
gatherings.

Everyone needs to show up at Tech
Session I to check out Faye’s new
ride. We’ll kick off our Tech
Sessions with numero uno at Jim and
Faye’s. Jim’s attempting to makeup
for lost time on his projects so
wear your working dungarees. PS. The
youngest EMC’r may also make an
appearance at this gathering. Bring
a dish and / or a box of chicken.

MARCH 17, 2007 - EMC Tops Down /
Vicksburg MS
Our annual rite of passage is on tap
again this year. This year in honor
of our very own Patrick, the
Cashman’s have invited club members
to join them in Vicksburg for their
annual St. Patrick’s Day Party. Food
and drink will be provided. Come and
enjoy the afternoon! The festivities

March 31, 2007 - Port Gibson
Heritage Festival / Port Gibson MS
David and Jo Ann Bailey have
extended a special invitation to EMC
members to partake in the annual
Port Gibson Heritage festival. David
has agreed to assist with a parking
area for all members that wish to
attend. The EMC traveled down
following the Tops Down gathering a
couple of years ago and we had a
great time. If you plan on

April 20 - 21, 2007 - The Ponder
Auction / Marshall TX
Autos and auto memorabilia will be
the auctioneer’s call of the day.
Many folks that have made one of our
visits to Gene Ponder’s collection
in Marshall have returned multiple
times for second and even third
looks at this magnificent collection
of automobiles. RM auctions will be
conducting an auction on the
premises. There has been interest in
attending the auction and possibly
bidding on one of their favored
items, so here’s your opportunity.
