January 21, 2017 - EMC 2016 Awards & 2017 Kick-Off / Florence MS - Make plans now to attend the start of the English Motoring Clubs 2017 Season. We'll have a look back and perhaps a chuckle about the times and places of 2016.  The "EMC Beav" I'm sure will make an appearance so come with your traveling awards from prior years to recognized 2016 achievements and perhaps splendid recoveries and don't forget that new awards are always welcome! The fun and frivolity will be held at: Berry's Seafood and Catfish House. February 18, 2017 – EMC Tech Session / Vicksburg MS - The EMC starts out 2017 with a tech visit to the garage of Pat and Barbara Cashman. Pat usually had project up his sleeve so make plans to attend. The party's always fun. Bring a dish and join the wrenching at 11:00am and lunch at 12:00pm. March 11, 2017 – EMC Tops Down / Rocky Springs MS - For 2017 the EMC will be meet up down in Rocky Springs for with a hope of an early spring and an early celebration of  St. Patrick’s Day so you might consider wearing a wee bit of green to avoid a pinch. March 24 - 25, 2017 – New Orleans British Car Day / New Orleans LA - Get your registration in early for the 27th annual BMCNO British Car Day. The BMCNO has promised another great show in the Big Easy so have your bags packed and ready to go. Travelers from Jackson area can give me a ring. April 1, 2017 - EMC/DSARC Fun Rally – This year there is no guarantee that you won't leave the state. Sounds like a promise to us. April 8, 2017 – Natchez Euro Fest / Natchez MS – Ring leader extraordinaire Mike Marsh has put together an outing for lovers of everything automotive. April 21 - 23, 2017 - Brits on the Bay / Pensacola FL - For the 25nd annual show they’ll fill the field with friends, fun and automobiles. Make plans to attend a great weekend this time promised to be in the sun. Travel down to Pensacola with the EMC to join us for this yearly migration to sunny Florida. May 13, 2017 - Drive Thru History / Hattiesburg MS - Come out and ride with the EMC. We'll depart from the Shell Gas Station at 410 E. Main St. Florlence MS (corner of Hwy 49 S. and E. Main). Meeting starts at 8:00am and departure is 8:30am sharp. We have some miles to cover. Around the Saratoga area we'll back road it down to Leatha's Bar B Que Inn in Hattiesburg for a bite of lunch then travel a bit further down the road to Camp Shelby for a visit at the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum before heading home...or just more driving to where ever you like. May (check for dates), 2017 – Springtime in the Smokies / Townsend TN - The 30th annual event takes place in the shadow of the Great Smoky Mountains. Friday night hospitality is an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. There will be time after the show and before trophies are presented to drive over and around the hills enjoying a little of what east Tennessee is famous for. May 13, 2017 – EMC’s Drive Thru History / Hattiesburg MS – The 2017 event will travel the back roads down to Camp Shelby to visit the recently renovated Mississippi Armed Forces Museum. May 28, 2017 – Oxford Euro Fest / Oxford MS – Those looking for something to do with your automobile over the Memorial Day weekend should be attentive to this date. Mike Marsh is establishing the Euro Fest show in North Mississippi and there’s no better place to spend sometime than around Oxford. For details keep an eye on the web-site. July 15, 2017 – EMC Lotus Weekend / Braxton MS - I’m sure we'll find some interesting roads on our way down to the beautiful burg of Braxton. June 25-28, 2017 – NAMBGR MGs at the Bay / San Diego CA – If you looking to get out and stretch your MGs legs this summer this is the trip for you. From Jackson area I figure you would win the EMCs 2017 Iron Butt award with the total driving mileage of about 3,500 miles and 50 or so hours. August 12, 2017 – EMC Garage and Food Tour / Brandon MS - David and Jo Ann have a way of throwing a great party in lead up to the EMC show. Come on out and see what David has added or improved on for 2017. Always lot’s to see and do along with a great meal what else can you ask for. August 18 – 19, 2017 – Vintage Triumph Register Convention / Princeton NJ - A bit of a ride for those from the Deep South however if you’ve never made a national event and happen to be in the area drop in.  Make plans early. Details: www.vtr.org

September (check for dates), 2017 – Shoals British Car Show / Florence AL - If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting the Shoals British Car Show at Joe Wheeler State Park in Florence AL you should. This show will be celebrating the 21st gathering. It's a laid back gathering on the banks of Wheeler Lake. Everything including rooms, meals and Friday nights reception are within walking distance. September 15 - 16, 2017 – EMC Brits on the Bluff / Natchez MS – We have the promise of a perfect weekend for the 20th Annual BOTB. Hang out on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River starting with our Friday night party and spend Saturday with us under the oaks at City Park. There will be lots to do on your visit with us. October 7, 2017 – Renaissance Euro Fest Car Show / Ridgeland MS – Come to Ridgeland Mississippi and enjoy the 9th Annual Renaissance Car Fest. The 2016 event was one to remember. Lots of participation from EMC members as well as friends from surrounding clubs will be the order again for 2017. When posted get your entry in early and make plans to attend. You’ll see cars that you don’t get a chance to enjoy often and in the surroundings of the Renaissance it’s just magnificent. Details: www.euro-fest.net.

October (check for dates), 2017 - Brits at the Parthenon / Nashville TN - If you’re looking for a nice drive up the Natchez Trace there's no better reason than to attend the 23rd Annual Nashville British Car Club Show. Lot's to do including taking in the Lane Museum of Cars while in town. A reception is held on Friday evening and the shows on Saturday. Details: www.nashvillebritishcarclub.org

October (check for dates), 2017 – South Alabama British Car Festival / Fairhope AL - It’s a nice drive down to Fairhope AL so join the caravan to the lovely city by Mobile Bay. November 4, 2017 – EMC Tech Session / Ridgeland MS - We’ll have the chili on the stove and a wrench ready for stirring. We’ll put together a project or two or perhaps take one apart.
