January 18, 2020 - EMC 2019 Awards & 2020 Kick-Off / Florence MS Make plans now to attend the start of the English Motoring Clubs 2020 season. We'll have a look back and share a chuckle about the times and places of 2020.  Sir Woody Chuck-alot will make an appearance so come with your traveling awards from prior years to recognized 2020 and with all of the action in 2019 don't forget that new awards are always welcome! We'll be setting out the 2020 schedule of events so bring your suggestions. The fun and frivolity will be held at: Berry's Seafood and Catfish House (2942 US- 49, Florence MS) starting at 11:30am. February 15, 2020 – EMC Tech Session / Vicksburg MS - The EMC starts out 2020 with a tech visit to the garage of Pat and Barbara Cashman. Pat usually has project up his sleeve so make plans to attend. The party's always fun. Bring a dish and join the wrenching at 11:00am and lunch at 12:00pm. March 14, 2020 - EMC Tops Down / Rocky Springs MS - For 2020 the EMC will be meet at Rocky Springs MS on the Natchez Trace with the hope of an early spring and a celebration of St. Patrick’s Day so you might consider wearing a wee bit of green to avoid a pinch. Bring a dish and enjoy the afternoon with the EMC family and friends. Those leaving from the Jackson area will depart from the Clinton MS Visitors Center (on the Natchez Trace) at 10:00am. March 20 - 21, 2020 – New Orleans British Car Day / New Orleans LA - Get your registration in early for the 30th annual BMCNO British Car Day. The EMC will join the BMCNO in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Annual British Car Day. The EMC hopes for a good member turn out to enjoy the celebration with our friends in Louisiana. April 3 - 4, 2020 – Natchez Euro Fest / Natchez MS – Ring leader extraordinaire Mike Marsh has put together an outing for lovers of everything automotive. The show site will be on the grounds of Rosalie overlooking the Mississippi and a block of rooms is available at the VUE also overlooking the old ma. The Porsche 356 Registry has listed the event on their 2020 calendar https://porsche356registry.org/events It’s anticipated the Porsche gathering will draw cars from as far away as Texas, Missouri, Florida along with representation of other fine European Automobiles. April 17 - 18, 2020 - Brits on the Bay / Pensacola FL - For the 28th annual show they’ll fill the field with friends, fun and automobiles. Make plans to attend a great weekend this time promised to be in the sun. Travel down to Pensacola with the EMC to join us for this yearly migration to sunny Florida. May 8 - 9, 2020 – Springtime in the Smokies / Townsend TN - The 33rd annual event takes place in the shadow of the Great Smoky Mountains. Friday night hospitality is an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. There will be time after the show and before trophies are presented to drive over and around the hills enjoying a little of what east Tennessee is famous for. June 28 – July 1, 2020 – NAMBGR MG 2020 Calgary Alberta / Calgary A CA – If you looking to get out and stretch your MGs legs this summer this is the trip for you. From Jackson area I figure you would win the EMCs 2020 High Mileage Award with the total driving mileage of about 2,216, each way! Go ahead and have a good time with the Marque of Friendship group. July 18, 2020 – EMC Lotus Weekend / Braxton MS - I’m sure we'll find some interesting roads on our way down to the beautiful burg of Braxton. Come and join the drive and the visit with Mike and Alice. Bring a dish and enjoy lazing on a sunny afternoon in the summertime with the EMC. Lunch starts at 12:00pm. August 15, 2020 – EMC Garage and Food Tour / Brandon MS - David and Jo Ann have a way of throwing a great party in lead up to the EMC show. Come on out and see what David has added or improved on for 2020. Always lots to see and do along with a great meal what else can you ask for. August 31 – September 4, 2020 – Vintage Triumph Register Convention / Galena Il - A bit of a ride for those from the Deep South however if you’ve never made a national event and happen to be in the area drop in.  Step back in time to the visit this 1826 era community along the Mississippi River. September (check for dates, usually the first weekend), 2020 – Shoals British Car Show / Florence AL - If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting the Shoals British Car Show at Joe Wheeler State Park in Florence AL you should. This is your kind of show if you’re looking for a relaxing setting and days spent with friends. It's a laid-back gathering on the banks of Wheeler Lake. Everything including rooms, meals and Friday night’s reception are within walking distance. They’ll be celebrating their 24th year in 2020. Details:www.shoalsbritishcars.org.

September (date varies, usually in September), 2020 - Brits in the Ozarks / Fayetteville AR - Still looking for excuses for a mountain drive? Here's another chance to see the Ozarks in all of their colors and have a car show at the end of your drive. The 19th Annual Brits in the Ozarks will be there waiting for you. September 18 – 19, 2020 – EMC Brits on the Bluff / Natchez MS We have the promise of a perfect weekend for the 23th Annual BOTB. Hang out on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River starting with our Friday night party and spend Saturday with us under the oaks at Bluff Park. There will be lots to do on your visit with us. October 9 - 10, 2020 – Renaissance Euro Fest Car Show / Ridgeland MS – Come to Ridgeland Mississippi and enjoy the 12th Annual Renaissance Car Fest. The 2019 event was one to remember. Lots of participation from EMC members as well as friends from surrounding clubs will be the order again for 2020. When posted get your entry in early and make plans to attend. October (check for dates, usually the second weekend), 2020 - Brits at the Parthenon / Nashville TN - If you’re looking for a nice drive up the Natchez Trace there's no better reason than to attend the 26th Annual Nashville British Car Club Show. Lots to do including taking in the Lane Museum of Cars while in town. A reception is held on Friday evening and the shows on Saturday. Details: www.nashvillebritishcarclub.org.

October (check for dates, usually the third weekend), 2020 – Scarecrow Cruise & Car Show / Madison MS – Looking for a great weekend auto activity? This local show is in its 17th year and sponsored by the Mississippi Classic Cruisers. For show registration and scheduling check out their web-site at www.MSClassicCruisers.com. October (check for dates, usually the third weekend), 2020 – South Alabama British Car Festival / Fairhope AL - It’s a nice drive down to the fair community of Fairhope AL so join the caravan to the lovely city by Mobile Bay. The Friday night meet and greet is always fun and the food is fantastic. Join EMC members to drive and celebrate this show in its 30th year! Details: www.sabcc.org.

November 7, 2020 – EMC Tech Session / Ridgeland MSWe’ll have the chili on the stove and a wrench ready for stirring. We’ll put together a project or two or perhaps take one apart.
